The OpportunityCouncil is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced Project Managers.Over the next five years, Council is undertaking a $316M program of capital works to upgrade and replace community assets: Replacing 60 bridges across the regionConstructing water and sewerage treatment plants and reticulation in Kempsey, Crescent Head, Willawarrin, and Stuarts PointUpgrading our five holiday parksConstructing sport and recreation facilitiesUpgrading roads, pavements, and other community assetsTo drive the planning and construction of these projects, Council is establishing a Major Projects Team. This new team will comprise of project management professionals with differing levels of expertise and industry experience, and administrative support. This team will be responsible for the delivery of major and minor capital works projects from pre-design phase through to handover/commission as required by Council’s delivery plan and capital works program. If you have tertiary qualifications in engineering or related field as well as certification in Prince 2 or other Project Management discipline with extensive experience managing the delivery of construction projects, then we would love to hear from you.
