About UsKempsey Shire Council is located on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales and is known for its genuine hospitality, pristine beaches, sub-tropical rainforests, mountain ranges, rock river gorges, sprawling farmland and peaceful villages.The OpportunityAn opportunity exists for a Traffic Facilities Officer to provide leadership and guidance for Council’s Traffic Facilities Unit so that the organisations objectives, programs, performance criteria, standards and procedures are achieved in the provision of engineering works and services by day labour and contract, and to ensure the effective management of assigned assets.To be successful in this role, you should possess Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Management Plan qualifications; a current Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan and formal qualifications in project management or a related field are desired.
